Recently, digital creator and wife of Iqrar ul Hassan, opened up about receiving judgement and criticism over her Punjabi accent.
In a vlog with Qurat ul Ain Iqrar, she shared, “Many people post comments saying my accent is Punjabi. Having a Punjabi accent is not a bad thing. If you live in Punjab, then you’ll have a Punjabi accent. The same case can be seen with Sindhis having a Sindh accent.”
“No doubt I am a Pathan but my mother is Punjabi who belongs to Punjab. I come from a village. If you have a problem with my Punjabi accent then don’t listen to me. You guys need to get rid of this complex in your minds.”
Who is Aroosa Khan?
Aroosa Khan is a well-known digital creator from Pakistan, a television host, and a lifestyle vlogger who became widely recognised after her marriage to the esteemed Pakistani television journalist and anchor, Iqrar ul Hassan Syed.
She began her career in digital media before moving on to mainstream television hosting. Her experience includes roles as a host and reporter, notably with Samaa TV, where she began her tenure in mid-2023.
Aroosa operates a very active YouTube channel under her own name, where she regularly shares lifestyle mini-vlogs, daily routines, travel narratives, and podcast-style interviews.
In late 2023, it was officially announced that she had married Iqrar ul Hassan, becoming his third wife. She maintains a friendly relationship with his family, often collaborating with his first wife, Qurat-ul-Ain, and his second wife, Farah, in her internet vlogs.
