The Government of Balochistan has increased the special conveyance allowance for government employees with disabilities from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month. According to the details, the Finance Department has issued a formal notification announcing the increase as part of measures aimed at employee welfare.
The revised allowance will take effect from July 1, 2026, and will be paid in addition to the regular conveyance allowance already received by eligible employees. The allowance is available to government employees recruited under the disability quota or those declared disabled by a duly constituted medical board.
The federal government has previously revised its assistance package for government employees who die during service. The package is divided into two categories: general deaths and security-related deaths.
For security-related deaths, the package provides a lump-sum grant ranging from Rs. 10 million to Rs. 20 million, depending on the employee’s grade.
The family of a martyred employee is entitled to receive the employee’s full salary and allowances until the age of superannuation. In addition, the children of martyrs are eligible for free education up to graduation and post-graduation levels. The package also provides permanent employment in BS-1 to BS-15 to the martyr’s widow or one of their children.
