Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was reportedly issued an e challan in Karachi after a traffic violation involving the vehicle he was driving, according to the reports today.
According to traffic police sources, the challan was issued on February 20 at Jinnah Signal for not wearing a seatbelt.
Officials have said that the vehicle is registered in the name of Dr Dinshaw Hoshang Uncle Saria but was being driven by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the time. Reports say that the bearing registration number is BF-7776.
Sources said that the same vehicle had earlier been fined for overspeeding on December 31, 2025, near Baloch Colony Bridge on Shahrah e Faisal in Karachi.
Reports also said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari used the same vehicle on Wednesday while attending the inauguration ceremony of Shahrah e Bhutto in Karachi. There, he drove the car himself.
Traffic authorities said the e challan was generated automatically through Karachi’s surveillance and monitoring system. This continues to enforce traffic laws across the city.
