An attempt to attack the main gate of the Jhangi Police Check Post in Taunsa was foiled. According to initial reports, the main gate and security wall of the check post were damaged.
Security sources said that, fortunately, no major loss of life or property was immediately reported, helping to avert a major tragedy. Security forces immediately cordoned off the area following the incident.
Evidence collection is underway, and investigations have been launched to determine the nature and perpetrators of the attack. A search operation has also been initiated in the surrounding area, while security has been placed on high alert. Authorities stated that further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
