US TikToker Brianna Johnson shot dead in Florida

A popular TikTok creator and social media influencer from the United States’ (US) state of Florida, Brianna Johnson, widely known online as Dreamdoll_Brii, has been shot dead on Sunday morning, July 5, in what the police are describing as a targeted attack.

According to police, the 21-year-old social media influencer was driving a lime green Lamborghini Urus at the time. Two other people were also inside the vehicle when unidentified gunmen opened fire on the vehicle.

Police said that the SUV then went out of control and crashed into a home. Johnson died at the scene, and the two others were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

According to the reports, the shooting took place at around 5:30 AM on Sunday on Sunshine Boulevard.

The suspects fled the scene, and police have started a search to identify those who are responsible for the crime.

In addition to this, the CCTV footage that has been released by police shows Johnson’s car continuing through an intersection before it lost control and crashed into a house after the shooting.

According to local media reports, investigators believe an altercation at a nearby gas station may have happened before the shooting.

Reports also claimed that the victims had attended a party at a nearby home before they were allegedly followed and attacked while driving away.

Brianna Johnson, also known as Dreamdoll_Brii, was known for sharing lifestyle content on social media. She had a combined following of around 500,000 across TikTok and Instagram.

She had approximately 388,000 followers on TikTok and 88,800 followers on Instagram.

Mexican influencer Paola Márquez found dead

Previously, Mexican content creator Paola Márquez died at the age of 30, according to reports from Spanish media outlet El Sol de San Luis.

According to the reports, Paola Márquez was found dead inside her apartment in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on May 30.

Her father, Hércules Márquez Balderas, confirmed the news on social media. He also shared an emotional message in which he expressed grief over the loss of his daughter.
