Chery Master Pakistan has officially launched the Chery Q electric vehicle in Pakistan at an introductory price of Rs5,554,000.
The company announced the price at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026 in Lahore. The Chery Q is an all-electric urban car designed to offer more space, technology and safety for everyday driving.
Buyers will also receive a complimentary 7kW home charger in the limited time offer. The charger is valued at Rs100,000. Bookings had earlier opened with a booking amount of Rs1.5 million.
Chery Q range and features
The Chery Q comes with a 42.7kWh battery and a rear wheel electric powertrain. Chery claims the vehicle can travel up to 400 kilometres on a charge under the NEDC testing cycle. Its claimed efficiency is 9.4km/kWh. Actual driving range can vary depending on road, weather and driving conditions.
The Chery Q has a 2,700mm wheelbase and is 1,811mm wide. Rear passengers get 152mm of knee room.
Technology is also a major part of the package. The car offers mobile app control, voice commands and 6.6kW Vehicle load capability. It also features a large 15.6 inch 2.5K display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Safety equipment includes six airbags and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with 21 functions. A 540-degree HD camera and automatic parking are also included.
Chery targets lower running costs
Chery Master is positioning the Q as an alternative to conventional petrol cars, majorly for households with solar power.
The company claims that a typical petrol vehicle driven 20,000km annually could cost around Rs488,000 to Rs569,000 in fuel. In comparison, estimatedly the Chery Q could cost around Rs30,000 annually when charged using surplus household solar energy. These figures are company estimates and actual costs will depend on usage and charging arrangements.
The Chery Q follows the introduction of the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9 plug in hybrids in Pakistan. The new model takes Chery Master further into the fully electric vehicle market.
The company currently has 14 3S dealerships across eight cities and plans to expand to 20 dealerships in 12 cities within six months.
