Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new inspirational national song, “Manzil Pakistan,” to mark Defence and Martyrs Day, paying tribute to the supreme sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs.
The song highlights the unwavering resolve and steadfastness of the Pakistani nation while portraying the strong bond between the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan.
“Manzil Pakistan” celebrates patriotism, sacrifice, loyalty and devotion to the motherland, carrying a message of national unity and commitment to Pakistan.
The song also calls on citizens to remain steadfast in their national responsibilities and make the country’s progress, prosperity and stability their foremost priorities.
Through its powerful message, “Manzil Pakistan” reaffirms the collective resolve to safeguard the country, honour the sacrifices of its martyrs and contribute to Pakistan’s development and stability.
PM Shehbaz pays tribute to martyrs on Defence Day
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that September 6 is an important day in Pakistan’s history.
He said the day reminds the nation of the courage, unity and sacrifices shown by the armed forces and the people to defend the country.
In his message for Defence and Martyrs’ Day 2026, the prime minister paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives while protecting Pakistan.
He also praised the veterans who served the country and defended its security, freedom and sovereignty.
Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan faced an attack on September 6, 1965. He said the armed forces stood against the enemy despite its larger numbers.
He said Pakistani forces used their training and military skills to defend the country on every front.
The prime minister also praised the people of Pakistan for standing with the armed forces. He said the nation showed unity, courage and determination during the war.
Field Marshal Asim Munir, naval and air chiefs salute Pakistan’s martyrs
Pakistan’s armed forces have paid tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives for the country. The tribute was given on Defence Day, September 6, 2026.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan.
Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu also honoured their sacrifices.
The armed forces also praised the services of the families of martyrs and veterans. They also appreciated their courage and sacrifices.
The ISPR said September 6 will always be remembered as a day of national unity and courage in Pakistan’s history.
