The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 10 Pakistani nationals deported from Türkiye, Italy, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia at Islamabad International Airport and registered cases against them.
According to the private media outlet, the FIA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Islamabad took action against the individuals following their arrival at the airport.
Six of those deported from Türkiye are accused of attempting to travel illegally to Europe. The individuals deported from Italy, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have also been accused of illegal entry and overstaying their visas.
An FIA spokesperson said the agency had taken the suspects’ passports, travel documents and mobile phones into custody as part of the investigation.
The FIA has registered cases against all 10 individuals and is investigating the circumstances surrounding their deportation and alleged violations of immigration laws.

Earlier, the National Assembly was informed that more than 3,500 Pakistani nationals have been deported from the United Arab Emirates for allegedly violating social media regulations.
According to details shared in the House, the action was taken during a period of heightened regional tensions, including the Iran–US standoff, when stricter monitoring of online activity was reportedly enforced in the UAE. Authorities said the individuals were found in breach of the country’s laws related to the use of social media and online content.
Officials further informed lawmakers that the deportations were carried out in accordance with local legal procedures. It was also stated that the properties and assets of those deported are being transferred to their legal heirs through proper channels.
