Drivers in Lahore need to drive carefully, as the Lahore Traffic Police can suspend a license immediately in case of a road accident.
According to the details, Lahore Traffic Police can suspend the license of any motorist in case of any fatal or even non-fatal accident.
Lahore Traffic Police also suspended around 68 licenses of motorists over road accidents in the city.
Suspension time limit
According to the Lahore Traffic Police, if the motorist is found guilty of irresponsible and careless driving, the authorities can suspend their licenses for at least one year.
Similarly, the drivers involved in fatal accidents will face legal action separate from license suspension.
Action against unlicensed drivers
Similarly, Lahore Traffic Police also stated that strict action will be taken against unlicensed drivers. Officials said they will fine unlicensed drivers Rs5,000 and may also impound their vehicles.
