Security forces foil terrorist attack on South Waziristan check post

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces stopped a militant attack on a check post in South Waziristan and killed four suspected militants. These included a suicide bomber as well.

The ISPR said the attack took place on July 25, 2026. It claimed the attackers belonged to Fitna Al Khwarij, which it described as an Indian-sponsored group.
