Islamabad High Court (IHC) barred the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from releasing the results of an exam recently taken by the department for new recruitment.
Justice Azam Khan heard the petition filed by a citizen named Yasir Arfat.
During the hearing, the applicant’s counsel, Afrasiab Ahmed Rana, advocate, told the court that the content in the exam conducted by the FIA was out of syllabus, and urged the court to bar the results of the exam conducted for the new recruitments.
Afrasiab Rana also told the court that a written application has also been sent to the FIA over this irregularity.
IHC barred the FIA from releasing the results of the recent exam until the final decision of the court.

Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) issued new travel guidelines for Pakistani citizens holding dual nationality.
According to FIA sources, Pakistani nationals will no longer be allowed to enter Pakistan using an expired NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis). Similarly, entry into the country will also be denied to travellers carrying a cancelled NICOP.
The new guidelines state that Pakistani citizens arriving on a foreign passport must possess either a valid Pakistani visa or a valid NICOP to enter the country.
The restrictions will apply to travellers arriving from all countries, including the United Kingdom, FIA sources said.
