GTA 6 file size leaked for PlayStation 5, rumours suggest

According to rumours and unofficial sources online, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 file size for PlayStation 5 is expected to be just under 200 GB.

Recently, a post on X (formerly Twitter) by GTA 6 Intel, an account known for sharing reliable information, suggested that the file size of the upcoming game might be just under 200 GB.

Another source verified these figures earlier this month, indicating that Rockstar is attempting to follow these numbers.

However, the storage needs may rise before the launch, as Rockstar continues to refine the game and implement last minute updates and patches.

According to critics, the compression seems to be effective if the 200 GB estimate holds true, particularly for a game that has been in development for so long.

Is GTA 6 going to be expensive?

GTA 6 is expected to be an expensive game, especially for the premium version, with insiders previously hinting at a starting price of around $100.

In the meantime, with Trailer 3 expected, dedicated GTA 6 fans are growing impatient and resorting to various tactics to obtain details more quickly.

Rockstar has kept quiet about any details regarding GTA 6 system requirements. The company is gearing up for an extensive marketing campaign this summer, which is likely when we will see more information, including system requirements and pricing.

Rockstar is expected to unveil the new trailer in late June or early July.

The complete game will be available in November, with PlayStation 5 owners being the first to access it. A PC version is also confirmed to be in the works, but no specific release date has been provided.
