Police in Gujranwala have arrested a young man after a foreign transgender person accused him and his family of illegally confining them.
The police registered a case after the complainant approached authorities and reported the alleged incident.
According to the FIR, the complainant said the accused and his family kept them inside their home and prevented them from leaving.
The complainant claimed they later found an opportunity to escape and went to the police to report the matter.
The FIR also mentions alleged fraud involving marriage documents. The complainant accused the family of preparing a fake Nikahnama.
Police are now investigating the allegations and will verify the marriage documents and other available evidence.
The claims made in the FIR have not been independently confirmed, and further action will depend on the outcome of the investigation.

Earlier, A young man has been arrested for aerial firing near Information Minister Attaullah Tarar’s car in Lahore.
The minister was present in the car when the man opened fire on Friday. He said that he was with his family when a car passed his vehicle, and the young man fired five shots. After that, he followed the vehicle and alerted police.
