The government has issued important instructions to Pakistani pilgrims selected under its Hajj scheme regarding the payment of their second Hajj instalment.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the second instalment payment window for Hajj 2027 will open on October 5 and remain available until October 20.
Selected pilgrims will be required to pay the second instalment within the specified period. Payments can be made through the Pak Hajj app and Digital Hajj Portal.
The ministry has advised pilgrims not to wait until the final deadline and to complete the payment process as early as possible.
Hajj 2027 application cancellation
Pilgrims who fail to deposit the second instalment by October 20 will have their Hajj applications treated as cancelled, according to the ministry.
Following cancellation, the amount already deposited by the applicant will be returned to their respective account.
Medical fitness certificate mandatory
Pilgrims will also have to upload a medical fitness certificate before paying the second instalment.
The certificate can be uploaded through the Pak Hajj app or Digital Hajj Portal.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised pilgrims to complete their medical examination and other required formalities before the deadline to avoid any problems with their Hajj applications.
Pilgrims have also been advised to keep records of their payment and medical certificate submission for future verification.
The second instalment payment and medical fitness certificate submission are important steps for pilgrims selected under Pakistan’s government Hajj scheme. All required formalities should be completed before the October 20 deadline.
Earlier, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Pakistan said successful Hajj pilgrims can now modify the duration of their Hajj package and accommodation through the government’s Pak Hajj mobile app.
Pilgrims can use the app to change between the long and short Hajj packages, according to ministry officials.
They can also select different accommodation arrangements, including two-bed and three-bed rooms, family rooms and shared accommodation.
The ministry says a number of other Hajj-related services have also been moved online, allowing pilgrims to complete procedures without visiting government offices.
The Pak Hajj App also allows pilgrims to download and print a medical fitness certificate.
