Hyundai Nishat Motor (Private) Limited has revised the ex-factory prices of several hybrid vehicles in Pakistan following changes to the federal taxation policy.
The revised prices took effect on 12 August 2026, according to a circular issued by the company to its dealers on 11 August.
Hyundai Nishat attributed the changes to measures introduced under the Federal Budget 2026-27, including an increase in sales tax to 25% on applicable vehicles.
The revised prices represent increases of around 15.2% compared with the vehicles’ pre-budget ex-factory prices.

At the same time, Hyundai Nishat has announced a limited-time Azadi promotional offer to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day.
The offer covers the selected hybrid models and will remain available until 31 August 2026.
Under the promotion, customers can purchase eligible vehicles at discounted ex-factory prices, with savings ranging from Rs639,000 to Rs1.403 million.

The company said customers who book an eligible vehicle through full payment during the promotional period can benefit from a price lock on the vehicle’s ex-factory price until 31 August.
Hyundai Nishat also clarified that the revised prices were driven by the government’s changes to the taxation policy and did not represent a price increase independently imposed by the company.
The latest changes are expected to affect the cost of several hybrid vehicles in Pakistan, although the temporary Azadi promotion could provide some relief to customers purchasing the eligible models during August.
