Bollywood singer Arijit Singh announced on Tuesday that he would leave the music industry, leaving his fans in shock. Arijit Singh announced that he will not take up new assignments from now on as he is leaving playback singing.
In a message on Instagram, he wrote, “Arijit expressed gratitude for the love he has received over the years. “Hello, Happy New Year to all. I want to thank you all for giving me so much love all these years as listeners. I am happy to announce that I am not gonna be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on. I am calling it off. It was a wonderful journey.”
After the singer’s announcement, his fans were shocked as they expressed their feelings by commenting under Arijit’s farewell post.

Another fan wrote, “Dear Arijit Sir, I have been a huge fan of yours for a long. Your soulful singing always touches me deeply, and I always listen to most of your songs.
