The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power shutdown in multiple areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other linked cities on Saturday, August 01.
As per the latest post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, IESCO has released a power outage schedule in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other areas.

IESCO Development work Approved Shutdown of 11 KV Feeders & 132KV Grid Stations/Transmission Lines
The scheduled shutdown will affect the following areas of Operation Circles:
1. Islamabad

The department has reasoned the electricity outage with the maintenance and construction work that will be carried out during the shutdown.
