The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power shutdown in multiple areas of Rawalpindi and other linked cities on Friday, July 24.
As per the latest post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, IESCO has released a power outage schedule in Rawalpindi and other areas.

IESCO Development work Approved Shutdown of 11 KV Feeders & 132KV Grid Stations/Transmission Lines
The scheduled shutdown will affect the following areas of Operation Circles:
1.Attock
2.Rawalpindi City

The department has reasoned the electricity outage with the maintenance and construction work that will be carried out during the shutdown.
