Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has been diagnosed with an eye disease called Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO), Journalist Asadullah Khan confirmed in his vlog on Monday.
The journalist explained about the disease, saying that if immediate treatment is not provided to the PTI founder, then his eyesight could be affected.
According to a report by Asadullah Khan, the team of doctors from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) visited Imran Khan in Adiala jail three times. He stated that the doctors visited Imran Khan on January 16, 19 and 21.
The journalist revealed that jail authorities urged doctors to treat Imran Khan in Adiala jail. However, the doctors maintained that treatment is not possible in jail but in operation theater. Doctor Arif from the doctor’s team said that treating Imran Khan in jail could be risky.

A major development emerged on Monday in the case involving Pakistani dissidents living in the United Kingdom, including a former adviser in the Imran Khan government, Shahzad Akbar and YouTuber Adil Raja as a British Court was told that the individual previously linked to the matter is not a hitman but a student with no criminal history.
According to details, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard that 25-year-old Louis Regan, who appeared before the court, is a student of good character and has no prior criminal record.
Prosecutors confirmed that Regan has not been directly implicated in any violent activity connected to the case.
