The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Ismail Baqai, said that the messages are being exchanged with the US through Pakistan after the first round of peace talks in Islamabad. He also said that Iran will not accept any involvement in the region.
He further stated that Iran is a protector and caretaker of the Strait of Hormuz. After the first round of peace talks in Islamabad, the US has sent several messages to Iran, Ismail Baqai confirmed.
Ismail Baqai also confirmed that the Pakistani delegation will visit Iran soon as part of peace talks between the US and Iran. Baqai also confirmed that Iran will always support Lebanon.
Ismail Baqai also said that Iran has the right to use Atomic capabilities for energy. During the peace talks in Islamabad, both sides discussed a complete ceasefire, sanctions on Iran and damages during the US-Iran war.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman also said that the second round of talks will be for a complete ceasefire.
