Javeria Saud has responded harshly to popular show host Tabish Hashmi over him criticising TV hosts taking planted calls for ratings.
During a conversation with Nadia Khan, Tabish Hashmi expressed that sometimes he perceives these viral clips as memes, while at other times he finds them to be cringe-worthy. He added that people engaging in planted calls lack grace.
Furthermore, he noted that hosts, including himself, receive major compensation and understands the competitive nature of ratings.
However, he believes that choosing such tactics for the sake of ratings is inappropriate.
Javeria Saud, the host indirectly accused of using planted calls during her Ramadan transmission to boost ratings, was not pleased with targeted comments by Tabish Hashmi.
She responded sharply to him on Instagram, clearly expressing her dissatisfaction with his criticism and making her feelings known.

Tabish Hashmi is a popular Pakistani stand-up comedian, host, and actor, celebrated for his sharp wit and engaging conversational humor. He is presently the host of the popular nightly comedy talk show “Hasna Mana Hai”.
Tabish Hashmi talks about going into politics
Recently while discussing his potential transition into fields beyond entertainment, Hashmi highlighted the necessity for additional time, financial resources, and influence to pursue a career in politics.
“Iqrarul Hassan left his position after 21 years of hosting. I too will step away after 21 years. Currently, I have only dedicated five years to this profession, and I must also focus on earning,” he commented.
Hashmi further expressed, “Indeed, I am concerned about contributing to our nation, but I must also prioritise my own well-being.”
“I cannot properly serve the community without financial stability. Honesty cannot be upheld when one is poor, true principles are only revealed in times of financial hardship”, the show host added.
