Under the guidance of District Emergency Officer Malik Ashfaq Hussain, the Training Wing of Rescue 1122 conducted a comprehensive daylong workshop on Sunday, concentrating on first aid training and firefighting for the personnel of the China Economic Zone in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Directed by Training Wing Incharge Hazrat Ali Shah, the session offered participants thorough training on immediate fire response, effective control measures, and vital safety protocols.
To connect theoretical knowledge with practical application, the training included hands-on demonstrations and collaborative mock drills involving Rescue 1122 and the zone administration, ensuring that all involved are ready for quick, coordinated action during actual emergencies.
Besides fire safety, the training highlighted essential medical skills as part of the Basic Life Support Program.
Participants received instruction on the fundamental principles of first aid, which involved proper care for injured individuals and techniques for safe evacuation.
The aim of the training was to equip staff with self-protection skills essential for preserving lives and property during the critical moments before professional rescue services can reach the scene.
