In the 32nd match of PSL 11, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by 7 wickets. The played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Peshawar Zalmi successfully chased the target of 183 runs set by Karachi Kings in 18.5 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
Kusal Mendis played a match-winning innings of 80 runs, while Farhan Yousuf remained unbeaten on 58. Captain Babar Azam scored 25 runs, James Vince was dismissed for 16 runs by Hasan Ali, and Aaron Hardie contributed 5 runs. For Karachi Kings, Hasan Ali, Khushdil Shah, and Abbas Afridi took one wicket each.
Earlier, Karachi Kings posted a competitive total of 182/9 after opting to bat first against Peshawar Zalmi in their PSL clash at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Jason Roy led the charge with a brilliant 85, anchoring the innings with authority. Azam Khan provided solid support with a 35-run knock, while Reza Hendricks chipped in with 13. Salman Agha and Khushdil Shah added 12 runs apiece in the middle order.
Captain David Warner managed 11, and Abbas Afridi contributed 6, but Karachi lost wickets at regular intervals towards the end. Shahid Aziz and Hasan Ali failed to open their accounts as Zalmi bowlers kept things tight in the latter stages.
