ICC releases latest ODI rankings

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest player rankings. In the ODI batsmen’s rankings, Daryl Mitchell of New Zealand is ranked number one, followed by Virat Kohli of India in second place and Ibrahim Zadran in third.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam is ranked sixth, while Salman Agha holds the tenth position.

Among Bangladesh players, Towhid Hridoy has moved up five places to 27th, and Tanzeed Hasan has climbed 14 places to reach 40th.

ODI bowlers’ rankings

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is ranked number one, followed by England’s Jofra Archer in second place. Australia’s Adam Zampa and Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed have each moved up one place to 10th and 11th, respectively. Bangladesh’s Irshad Hossain has risen 10 places to reach 60th.

ODI all-Rounders’ rankings

Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai holds the top position in the ODI all-rounder rankings.

Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza has moved up one place to second, while Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz has dropped two places to fourth. Rashid Khan has also climbed two places to reach fifth in the all-rounders’ rankings.

It is worth mentioning that ICC had earlier released the latest rankings for ODI and T20 players in December 2025.

According to the ICC, India’s Shubman Gill is at the top of the ODI batsmen’s rankings, while Pakistan’s Babar Azam remains in third position.

In the ODI rankings, England’s Joe Root has climbed five places to 19th, while Jos Buttler has moved up seven places to 35th.

South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj retains the top spot in the ODI bowlers’ rankings.

England’s Jofra Archer has made a significant leap, rising 16 places to reach third position, while Adil Rashid has climbed seven places to 8th. No Pakistani bowler is currently in the top 10 of the ODI rankings. Shaheen Afridi has dropped two places to 16th. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza continues to hold the top position among ODI all-rounders.
