The government of Pakistan has increased the price of kerosene oil once again after revising the prices of petrol and diesel for July 31.
As per the new notification issued, the price of kerosene oil has been raised by Rs1.77 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs306.44 per litre with immediate effect.
The increase means consumers who rely on kerosene for household use, particularly in areas with limited access to natural gas, will face higher fuel costs.
Fuel prices in Pakistan are reviewed periodically by the government, taking into account changes in international crude oil prices and other market factors.
The latest revision comes amid continued fluctuations in petroleum prices, adding to the financial burden on consumers already facing rising living costs.

New petrol, diesel price for July 31
The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced new prices for petroleum products, increasing the rates of both petrol and high-speed diesel.
According to the notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 1.9 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has become Rs 2.42 per litre more expensive.
The new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 336.15 per litre.
Similarly, the new price of diesel has been fixed at Rs 394.4 per litre.
Under the new daily pricing system, on July 17, the government increased the price of petrol by Rs 5.44 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 31.50 per litre for the next three days.
Following this increase, petrol reached Rs 316.15 per litre, while diesel was priced at Rs 354.35 per litre.
