Beneficiary women of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) have been given a final opportunity to obtain their free Benazir SIM before the deadline.
According to a statement issued by the BISP spokesperson, all beneficiary women who have not yet received their Benazir SIM should visit their nearest BISP office as soon as possible with their original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and mobile phone.
The statement warned that beneficiaries who fail to obtain the Benazir SIM may not be able to receive their stipend payments.
BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid also urged all beneficiary women who have not yet collected their free Benazir SIMs to obtain them from their nearest BISP office before September 30, 2026.
In her message, Senator Rubina Khalid said the SIM would be activated at the BISP office by a representative of the relevant mobile phone company.
She further instructed beneficiaries to ask BISP staff to insert the SIM into their mobile phones themselves at the time of collection.
The BISP has advised eligible women to complete the process before the deadline to avoid disruption in receiving their stipend payments.
