Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary of the United States (US), has said in an interview with Fox News today that Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff will head back to Pakistan tomorrow for peace talks with Iran.
She said that the talks will be inter mediated by Pakistan, ‘who have been incredible friends throughout this entire process.’

Prior to this, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Syed Abbas Araghchi, confirmed his visit to Islamabad.
He took to the social media platform X to announce this, stating, “The purpose of my visits is to closely coordinate with our partners on bilateral matters and consult on regional developments.”
Prior to this, the US and Iranian delegations visited Pakistan for the Islamabad Peace Talks 2026 that took place from April 11 to 12.
