FBISE announces HSSC annual result

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially announced the 2026 Matric (Class 10) General Group annual examination results for both regular and private candidates. Female students once again dominated the results, securing all three top positions.

According to the board, Tooba Fatima claimed the first position with 90.27% marks, followed by Amina Asad in second place with 87.82%, while Safia Munawar secured the third position with 87.73% marks.

A total of 15,446 candidates registered for the examinations, of whom 14,749 appeared, while 697 students remained absent. Board officials said the results were compiled under a transparent examination and assessment process to ensure fairness and accuracy.

BSEK Chairman Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput praised the efforts of board officials, examination staff, and teachers for ensuring the timely announcement of the results. He said the board is continuously introducing modern technology to improve the examination system and revealed that a computerised assessment and e-marking system has also been introduced for Class 9 annual examinations, making the evaluation process faster, more transparent, and efficient.

For the convenience of students, the results have also been made available online. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number on the official BSEK websites, www.bsek.edu.pk and www.bsek.com.pk. Students can also contact the board’s helplines at 0333-9206444 and 0333-9205111 for assistance. The board has advised students to obtain their results only through official websites and authentic sources.

Tentative dates announced for Punjab board intermediate results

According to a tentative academic schedule, the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education are expected to announce the results of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part I and Part II examinations later this year.

If the proposed schedule is followed, students awaiting results of Class 11 (HSSC-I) exam can expect their results on October 22, which is almost a month after the results are due for Class 12 (HSSC-II), September 23.

The above dates are not confirmed and students are requested to wait for official notification from the education boards.
