On the 3rd day of the first test match of West Indies and Pakistan, Mohammad Abbas, Pakistani fast bowler, in the second bowling innings of Pakistan struck early. His exceptional bowling left West Indies reeling at 85 runs for 5 wickets.
Pakistan in their first batting innings were all bowled out at 282 runs.
The second batting innings of West Indies test team started with them being in the lead as they were able to retain a 29-run lead in the second innings. West Indies scored 311 runs in their first innings.

In Pakistan’s first innings Shan Masood scored 109 runs and led the resistance while Imam-ul-Haq delivered good support with 63 runs.
Captain Babar Azam just scored 23 runs, Salman Ali Agha also was only able to score 20 runs while Mohammad Rizwan added 12 runs and Aamir Jamal was returned to the pavilion after 3 runs.
The West Indies’ most outstanding bowler was Justin Greaves with five wickets and Kemar Roach and Shamar Joseph also took two wickets each.
The West Indies in the first innings had been bowled out for 311 and Shai Hope had scored 92 runs and Keacy Carty Hodge scored 84 runs.
Shamar Joseph also scored 23 runs. Justin Greaves also contributed 15 runs and Brandon King and Roston Chase each chipped in 12.
Mohammad Ali was the flag bearer of Pakistan’s bowling attack in the first bowling innings with 4 wickets for 50 runs.
Mohammad Abbas picked up three wickets and Khurram Shahzad and Aamir Jamal got two and one wicket respectively.
Abbas again struck the ball early in the second innings to bring the West Indies down 62 for 4 at the end of the first innings, giving Pakistan a comfortable start to their second bowling innings of a thrilling, first Test.
The West Indies team currently stands at 127 runs at the loss of seven wickets.
