The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new digital facility to simplify the process of buying and selling vehicles in Pakistan.
As the country’s official authority for issuing identity documents, NADRA continues to expand its digital services into sectors that require secure identity verification. Under the latest initiative, the authority has released version 5.6.8 of the Pak ID mobile application with new features designed for vehicle transactions.
Developed in collaboration with the Government of Balochistan, the updated app now provides digital vehicle cards for vehicles registered in Balochistan, along with a biometric verification service for buyers and sellers.
According to NADRA, the new services enable citizens to complete vehicle verification and transfer-related processes from the comfort of their homes, making transactions more secure, convenient, and efficient.
Earlier, NADRA introduced self-service kiosks to make its services faster and more convenient for citizens across Pakistan.
Through the new self-service kiosks, citizens can submit applications on their own for the renewal of their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP). They can also apply for a replacement of lost or damaged identity cards and request the cancellation of the CNIC of a deceased family member without assistance from NADRA staff.
