NADRA Family Registration Certificate fee updated: check new charges

The fees for obtaining a Family Registration Certificate (FRC) have been categorised into four types, according to reports on Friday.
According to the details, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released comprehensive information regarding the various types of Family Registration Certificates (FRC) and their associated fees to facilitate citizens.

What are the FRC categories and fee schedule?

The ‘Alpha’ category covers the registration of parents and siblings. The fee is Rs1,000 for it.
The ‘Beta’ category covers the registration of a spouse, the husband/wife, and children. For this category, the fee is also Rs1,000.
The ‘Gamma’ category will cover the registration of a legally adopted child. It has a set fee of Rs1,000.
Additionally, the fee to obtain a combined certificate covering all family members is Rs2,000. It will encompass all Alpha, Beta, and Gamma categories

How ​​to obtain the certificate?

Citizens can visit any NADRA centre to obtain their Family Registration Certificate instantly.
In addition to this, you can apply online via the NADRA mobile app and receive the FRC in PDF format via email within 24 hours.

NADRA proof of life certificate

NADRA recently shared details about the pensioners who can use its Proof of Life Certificate service in the first phase.
According to NADRA, the service is currently available to pensioners from federal and provincial departments managed by the Controller General of Accounts and provincial accountants general.
The facility is also available to pensioners from Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Pensioners from all three armed forces can also use the service if they are managed by the Military Accountant General.
NADRA and Radio Pakistan pensioners are also included in the first phase.
NADRA said that pensioners from other departments will also get the service. It will be introduced for them in different phases.
The Proof of Life Certificate allows pensioners to complete their life verification through the Pak ID mobile app.
