Pakistan’s fast bowler Naseem Shah will once again display his talents during one of the world’s top T20 leagues, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He has signed with the franchise St Kitts & Nevis Patriots for the 2026 season.
Naseem Shah’s previous appearances with St Kitts & Nevis Patriots came with an impressive package of express pace, effective swing and outstanding pressure performances, by which he impressed fans and team management.
His growing name on the international circuit and his fine form are being cited as reasons for the franchise to renew its faith in him.
The St Kitts & Nevis Patriots will kick off their Caribbean Premier League 2026 season with their first match against the Guyana T&T Blakcocks at the Clifton Park stadium on August 9.
The team is looking forward to the new season on the field and hopes Naseem Shah will be a major contributor in the coming season with his pace, fire and wicket taking ability.
In recent years Naseem Shah is considered to be one of the best bowlers in Pakistan.

He has also been a part of the national team in all three formats and has also drawn attention in international T20 leagues.
Cricket experts say he will get more experience from playing in a competitive tournament such as the CPL as it will give him more experience of different conditions, pitches and the opportunity to play against world-class cricketers which will benefit the Pakistan national team in the future.
In the meantime, Pakistan’s involvement in various overseas leagues is ongoing.
Pakistan’s top bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was also selected by a team in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) a few days ago, and was also provided with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Cricket circles feel that the consistent demand for Pakistani fast bowlers in the T20 global leagues is enough to prove that Pakistan’s fast bowlers are the first choice of global T20 franchises due to their pace, skill and match winning powers.
