A tipster recently made a post on X, suggesting that the phone will not be launched in any market.
It is important to note that OnePlus has not made any official announcement about the phone.
The tipster also did not provide any reason for the claim.
Is OnePlus changing its strategy for international releases?
Earlier, the company adopted a strategy of repackaging T series devices for global regions.
The Chinese original, OnePlus 15T is considered to be a good phone when it comes to its overall hardware.
It has a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It also comes with a strong battery, 7500mAh along with 100W SuperVOOC.
When it comes to photo or video specs, the dual 50MP camera with Sony IMX906 can give you high quality shots in all kinds of light settings.
If the cancellation is confirmed soon, this would mean that OnePlus is moving away from its usual international release strategy.
According to these leaks, the OnePlus 15s seems to have been removed completely from the brand’s roadmap.
However, this is not the first time the company has put an end to a device. The OnePlus Open 2 was also cancelled before it reached international markets.
New reports now hint at OnePlus leaving US, UK and EU markets completely.
