Cricket Australia and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are negotiating on when Australia will go on a tour of Pakistan to play a three-match ODI series.
Pakistan vs Australia ODI Series Schedule
| Match | Venue | Date |
| 1st ODI | Rawalpindi | TBD |
| 2nd ODI | Lahore | TBD |
| 3rd ODI | Lahore | TBD |
The arrival of Australia is likely towards the end of May in Pakistan and the matches are scheduled as tentative between May 31 and June 5.
As per the sources, it is expected that one of the ODIs will be hosted in Rawalpindi, with the other two games to be hosted in Lahore.
The last time Australia was in Pakistan was in January this year, where they came to play a three-match T20I series.
Following the Pakistan visit, the Australian team will then make a trip to Bangladesh to play another white-ball series, the first ODI of which should be played there on June 9.
Pakistan, in the meantime, is also planning to pay a brief visit to Bangladesh. It is tentatively planned that the team will play a two-match series between May 8 and 20.
The Pakistan series against Bangladesh will be the first international engagement since it hosted South Africa in a two-Test series in October last year.
That series on red-ball ended in a draw of 1-1, and Pakistan has not played any Test cricket since that time.
Pakistan is also likely to visit the West Indies in July and August before the England tour to play two Tests.
Further into the future, Sri Lanka will travel to Pakistan in November of this year to play two matches in a Test series and New Zealand will travel to the country in March 2027 to play another two-match Test series.
