The prices of petroleum products will remain unchanged until July 27, according to sources today.
The Petroleum Division said that the price of petrol will stay at Rs335.18 per litre until the next scheduled price review.
Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) will remain unchanged at Rs383.46 per litre during the same period. These are the prices that had been set in the previous review on Friday.
The government has also decided to maintain the price of kerosene oil, which will continue to be sold at Rs301.14 per litre until July 27.

On July 18, petrol became Rs5.44 per litre more expensive, while diesel increased by Rs31.05 per litre. On July 21, petrol became 35 paisas cheaper, but diesel increased by Rs5.71 per litre.
Then, on July 22, petrol increased by Rs4.93 per litre and diesel by Rs7.15 per litre. On July 23, petrol became Rs6.39 per litre more expensive, while diesel increased by Rs7.83 per litre.
On July 24, petrol prices increased by Rs4.40 per litre and diesel prices by Rs3.62 per litre.
According to Petroleum Division sources, there will be no changes in the prices of petrol, high-speed diesel, or kerosene oil until the next pricing announcement.

According to previous reports, the government is considering ending the daily petroleum price revision system after reaching an agreement with fuel dealers.
The development came after fuel dealers called off their planned nationwide strike following government assurances.
According to the Petroleum Dealers Association, the government agreed to review the daily petrol and diesel price adjustment system. It also promised to prepare a report on petrol dealers’ profit margins within 15 days.
Association President Humayun Khan announced that the strike had been cancelled after the government expressed willingness to consider the dealers’ demands.
As a result, petrol pumps across the country continued normal operations. Earlier, fuel dealers had threatened a nationwide strike over the daily fuel price revision policy.
