Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has released the full schedule for its Hajj 2026 flight operations, announcing the launch of its pre-Hajj operation from April 19.
According to a spokesperson, the airline will transport over 55,000 pilgrims to Hejaz through 191 flights this year. Of these, around 49,000 pilgrims will travel under the government scheme, while more than 6,000 will fly under private Hajj arrangements.
Direct Hajj flights will operate from major cities across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Quetta.
Flight distribution by city
- From Islamabad: 46 flights carrying over 15,400 pilgrims
- From Karachi: 55 flights carrying over 15,000 pilgrims
- From Lahore: 34 flights carrying 12,377 pilgrims
- From Faisalabad: 23 flights carrying 3,680 pilgrims
- From Multan: 13 flights carrying 5,383 pilgrims
- From Sialkot: 5 flights carrying 2,075 pilgrims
- From Quetta: 15 flights carrying 4,487 pilgrims
First flights schedule
The first Hajj flight (PK-747) will depart from Sialkot to Medina on April 19 at 1:55 AM, carrying over 390 pilgrims.
Other inaugural flights include:
- Faisalabad: PK-4003 on April 19 at 11:05 AM with 150+ pilgrims
- Multan: April 20 at 6:35 AM with 391 pilgrims
- Islamabad: PK-713 on April 21 at 11:30 AM with 300+ pilgrims
- Quetta: April 21 at 5:45 AM with 300+ pilgrims
- Karachi: PK-743 on April 23 at 7:15 AM with 391 pilgrims
- Lahore: PK-747 on April 24 at 10:20 PM with 300+ pilgrims
Operational details
PIA said its teams at airports in both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will assist pilgrims with guidance and facilitation throughout the journey. The pre-Hajj operation is scheduled to continue until May 21.
The airline added that all necessary arrangements have been finalised, and strict instructions have been issued by the CEO to ensure smooth operations and maximum facilitation for pilgrims during Hajj travel.
