PML-N will form government in Azad Kashmir

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed confidence that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will form the next government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the private media outlet reported on Wednesday.

The remarks were conveyed during a meeting of the PML-N election committee, chaired by Khawaja Saad Rafique at Punjab House. Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Tahira Aurangzeb, Malik Abrar, Sardar Naseem, Bilal Yamin Satti, and other lawmakers attended the meeting.

The participants discussed the party’s strategy for securing victory in the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections. They also emphasised the need for lawmakers to play an active role in the election campaign.

During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif’s message was shared with party members and candidates. According to the message, the former prime minister said the PML-N would form the government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and urged party leaders to run a vigorous election campaign to ensure the success of the party’s candidates.

Earlier, PML-N president Nawaz Sharif, vowing to bring prosperity to Azad Jammu and Kashmir if elected to power, said development projects similar to those underway in Punjab would also be launched in the region, along with modern transport and healthcare facilities

Addressing a large rally in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday along with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Nawaz Sharif said that if PML-N wins, he would ask PM Shahbaz Sharif to make him Prime Minister of AJK.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressed a political rally in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. While addressing, he said, “I love Kashmir.” He also said that Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz also loves Kashmir.
