Tickets for the final match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 are expected to go on sale online from today, according to the reports. This has created excitement among cricket fans.
According to the reports, a high-level meeting was held to finalise the arrangements for the big match.
Officials have reviewed security, crowd management, transport, and other facilities to make sure that there are smooth arrangements for all the fans.
Authorities have said that a special focus is being given to providing a safe and better experience for spectators.
The final ticket prices will be approved by Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi before an official announcement. Ticket sales will start online first, according to the reports, and printed tickets will also be available later.
PM Shehbaz approves fans’ entry for PSL 11 final
In another development, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved allowing spectators to attend the PSL final in the stadium. Pakistan Super League officials had requested this permission.
The decision is expected to increase excitement and make the final match more enjoyable for fans.
Pakistan Super League Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi said on the social media platform X that he had formally asked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow spectators in stadiums, especially for the final match.
He added that the prime minister was already in favour of allowing fans but was concerned about national austerity measures.
These steps were meant to reduce fuel use and control expenses. Because of this, there was earlier uncertainty about allowing large crowds at sports events.
“Dear cricket fans, I requested the prime minister to allow spectators in the stadiums,” Naqvi said, adding that while Shehbaz Sharif supported the idea, he remained mindful of the government’s efforts to maintain economic discipline.
Previously, several team owners took to social media, calling for permission to reopen stadiums to spectators and restore the electric atmosphere that defines the PSL, according to media reports.
