Pakistan Rangers Punjab have announced 205 job vacancies for different posts. The posts that are open include Lady Rangers, religious teacher jobs, cooks, sanitary workers and other support staff.
The recruitment will be based on merit. The prescribed regional and minority quotas will also apply. The jobs are available from BPS-01 to BPS-11.

The support jobs include boatmen, barbers, carpenters, washermen, electricians, masons, plumbers and painters.
What is the eligibility criteria?
Candidates for the Religious Teacher post must have Shahadat-ul-Alamiyah from an HEC-recognised institution.
They also have to meet the required FA or FSc qualification.
Women applying for Lady Ranger posts must have at least Middle-level education.
Higher qualifications may be preferred. Candidates with a BSN or nursing diploma may also get an advantage.
Candidates for Cook posts must have passed Middle. They should also have practical cooking skills.
What is the age limit and physical requirements?
Candidates must be 18 to 30 years old as of September 28, 2026.
The age limit includes a five-year relaxation under government rules.

How will the quota system apply?
Open merit has 7.5 per cent of the seats. Punjab, including Islamabad, has a 50 per cent share.
The other quotas are:
- Sindh Urban: 7.6 per cent
- Sindh Rural: 11.4 per cent
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including merged districts: 14.5 per cent
- Balochistan: 6 per cent
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 1 per cent
- Azad Kashmir: 2 per cent
- Minorities: 5 per cent
How to apply
Women applying for Lady Ranger jobs must appear in person at Headquarters Desert Rangers in Bahawalpur.
Registration will take place from September 28 to October 2, 2026.
They must bring their original documents and photocopies.
They should also bring two postal envelopes with their complete address.
Candidates should carry PT shoes for the physical test.
Applicants for Religious Teacher, Cook, Sanitary Worker and other support posts must apply by post.
They should send copies of all required documents along with two self-addressed postal envelopes.
