SBP launches new official website to go live on July 1

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Tuesday that its redesigned official website will launch on July 1, 2026.

This new site aims to provide all institutional information, publications, and resources in a more user-friendly way.

The new website will serve as a modern, secure, and inclusive digital platform, making it easier for users to access SBP’s information.

It will be available at www.sbp.org.pk on desktops, smartphones, and other devices.

A statement released also mentioned that the site will offer a faster and more user-friendly digital experience for citizens, businesses, financial institutions, researchers, journalists, and other stakeholders.

The website is expected to feature a bilingual interface in English and Urdu, along with accessibility features designed for users with disabilities, developed in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

The SBP views this launch as a major step in its digital transformation agenda. It now highlights its ongoing commitment to transparency, innovation, and meaningful engagement with stakeholders.

After thorough research and consultations with stakeholders, the website has been redesigned to better meet the diverse needs of its users.

It will include a modern interface with simplified navigation, improved search functionality, and filtering options to help users find data easily.

The information display has been reorganised to highlight key areas such as monetary policy, financial markets data, banking regulations, and other SBP functions.

It is said to improve the SBP’s ability to communicate effectively with the public.

The SBP believes that by making reliable information and digital resources more accessible, the website will help improve financial literacy and inclusion.
