Strong response Hajj 2027 registrations cross 51,000 mark quickly

The number of pilgrims registering for Hajj 2027 has surpassed 51,000 within just two days of the online registration process opening.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 46,000 applicants have registered via the official online portal, while 5,000 have used the Pak Hajj mobile application.

Of the total registrations, 41,000 applicants have opted for the government Hajj scheme, while 10,000 have registered under the private Hajj scheme, the ministry added.

Region-wise, 24,000 pilgrims have registered from Punjab, 16,000 from Sindh, and 7,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In addition, 3,000 pilgrims have registered from Islamabad, 800 from Balochistan, 260 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 77 from Gilgit-Baltistan.

Among the registered pilgrims, there are 30,000 men and 21,000 women. The largest age group among applicants is 30 to 48 years.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that, with the assistance of the National IT Board, the Hajj process has been made paperless and fully digitalised. The mandatory registration drive for Hajj 2027 will continue across the country without interruption. Details regarding Hajj expenses and other information will be announced in the second phase.

It is worth mentioning here that the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has unveiled the registration schedule for Hajj 2027, introducing a streamlined and transparent process for prospective pilgrims.

The new registration system has been designed in accordance with the latest guidelines and regulations issued by the Saudi authorities. According to media reports, online registration has started from June 22, 2026.

Prospective pilgrims will be required to create a user account on the Ministry’s official Hajj portal at www.hajj.mora.gov.pk. After creating an account, applicants must complete the registration process by providing their personal information as well as the details of their family group.
