The Punjab School Education Department announced that it would conduct a written test for the appointment of head teachers in government schools.
According to the details, the written test will be conducted tomorrow under the supervision of the Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA).
The Punjab School Education Department directed relevant authorities to install CCTV cameras in exam centres.
The department also urged authorities for the uninterrupted supply of electricity during the exam hours. Similarly, the department was ordered to provide fast internet and smart tablets to applicants.
The Punjab School Education Department also decided to nominate a focal person to contact PECTAA in every district of the province.
The letter has directed all district authorities to provide full cooperation for the transparent and effective conduct of the examination. In this regard, the School Education Department has issued a formal letter to the CEOs Education.

Earlier, the Punjab government extended summer vacations for Non-Formal educational institutions on Thursday. The decision has been taken due to the ongoing heat wave and unusual weather conditions across the province.

According to an official notification issued by the Directorate General of Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education, all non-formal educational institutions will remain closed until June 30, 2026.
According to the details, the decision applies to Non-Formal Basic Education schools, Non-Formal Education schools, and institutions working under the GPE TALEEM Program across Punjab.
