A persistent foul smell has been reported in several parts of Dubai, prompting residents to express their concern about the smell in their neighbourhood over the last few days.
Several residential areas have complained about the issue, such as Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), The Springs, The Meadows, Al Barsha, Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens.
This odour has been described by residents as being similar to sewage or rotten matter, or burnt plastics or a strong chemical odour.
