A video has recently gone viral on social media platforms, where the son of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazl ur Rehman, Asad Mehmood, can be seen receiving what seems to be a laser hair removal treatment at an expensive Islamabad clinic, according to reports.
The video has sparked debate on social media, with some users questioning the alleged use of madrassah donations for personal expenses.
Previously, Fazal ur Rehman faced criticism on social media for hosting a lavish valima reception for his son amid Pakistan’s economic crisis.
The event was held in Islamabad on Friday and was attended by several prominent political figures.

Social media users questioned the lavish celebration. They said it was inappropriate at a time when many people across the country were facing financial difficulties.

Pilgrims’ hard-earned money looted?
Separately, questions have been raised over the distribution of Hajj quotas among private tour operators following claims of financial irregularities and favouritism.
Documents have also pointed to possible links between several companies and people associated with Fazal ur Rehman.
The matter involves Mufti Abrar, who has been described as a close associate of Fazal ur Rehman, and former Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro.
Concerns have also been raised over the allocation of Hajj quotas and contracts for accommodation, transport and catering services in Saudi Arabia.
According to the reports, 45 smaller Hajj companies were linked to Akhlaq Ahmed Khan, who was reportedly associated with Al-Afwu Manazim and Sajjad Travels.
Seven of these companies were said to have links with close relatives and associates of Mufti Abrar.
The documents further suggested that these seven companies received Hajj quotas worth more than Rs1 billion for 2026.
This has raised questions about how the quotas were approved and whether the allocation process was transparent.
