Sanam Saeed responds to trolls targeting her appearance

Pakistan’s showbiz industry’s talented and versatile actress Sanam Saeed has finally responded to criticism on social media regarding her appearance and looks.

Recently, Sanam Saeed appeared on Ahsim Yar’s show Star and Style Season 5, where she openly talked about her career and social media trolling.

During the show, the host asked whether she has ever faced negative comments or trolling on social media.

Sanam Saeed said that fortunately, she has faced very little negative behaviour in her career. According to her, at times people have only used words like “koji” or “khoji”.

The host explained that “khoji” means detective, while “koji” refers to a face that does not meet traditional standards of beauty.

Responding to this, Sanam Saeed confidently said that if she has only been called “koji,” she does not consider it trolling, because it is actually a comment on her Creator.

She said, “Allah has made me the way I am, and I am satisfied with it.”

Ahsim Yar also said during the conversation that in Pakistan, usually fair complexion and specific facial features are considered the standard of beauty, whereas in other parts of the world wheatish skin tone is also highly appreciated.

On this, Sanam Saeed said that her face has classical Pakistani features and often people, upon meeting her, compare her with different Pakistani actresses.
