The British government has announced stricter action against social media platforms over the spread of violent content following recent unrest in Belfast.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer said tougher rules are needed to stop online platforms from being used to incite or spread violence.
Authorities have also signalled possible action against more than 20 Pakistani-origin YouTubers and social media activists, previously identified by Pakistani officials for controversial online content.
The move is part of wider efforts to improve online safety and prevent digital platforms from fuelling unrest.

Earlier, the Home Department of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government had initiated formal legal proceedings against Shaukat Nawaz Mir and Khawaja Mehran Arshad over allegations of sedition and anti-state activities.
According to official directives, an inquiry has been ordered into speeches, writings, publications, and electronic communications attributed to Shaukat Nawaz Mir that may fall under Section 124-A of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Penal Code.
The Home Department said that after reviewing available records and material, the allegations require further investigation in accordance with the law.
