Azam undergoes major transformation, loses 22kg

Karachi Kings wicketkeeper-batter Azam Khan has revealed that he lost 22 kilograms before the start of PSL 11, saying the transformation has significantly improved his fitness and confidence.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, the aggressive batter shared that he is now feeling much better after the weight loss and is fully focused on delivering strong performances for his team.

Azam Khan added that he is doing his best to help Karachi Kings win matches, emphasising that every player is committed to taking the team forward in the tournament.

Responding to a question, Azam Khan said that the league started well for Karachi Kings, but the team later faced difficulties due to injuries, which prevented them from forming their best combination.

Referring to the match, he said that having Moeen Ali and David Warner in the squad is very beneficial, and that all young players, including himself, are learning a lot from them.

He further stated that the team’s total was reasonable considering the pitch conditions, but the bowlers did not meet expectations. It is worth noting that in the 32nd match of PSL 11, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by 7 wickets. Peshawar Zalmi chased down the target of 183 runs set by Karachi Kings in 18.5 overs, losing 3 wickets in the process.
