The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has issued an important alert for women receiving financial assistance and announced on Wednesday that the deadline to get a free Benazir Mobile SIM has been extended until June 30.
According to the details, the government has issued an important message for women who receive payments under BISP.
Officials said that in the future, all BISP payments will be made only through a digital wallet linked to the special Benazir Mobile SIM.
To make the process easier for beneficiaries, authorities have extended the last date to collect the free Benazir Mobile SIM until June 30.
Women who have not yet received their Benazir Mobile SIM have been advised to immediately visit their nearest office with their original CNIC and personal mobile phone to collect the free SIM.
Officials said that five days after receiving the SIM, beneficiaries must visit the nearest retailer of the relevant bank and activate their digital wallet. This will help them to avoid any problems while receiving future payments.
Women who have already received their Benazir Mobile SIMs have also been asked to activate their digital wallets as soon as possible. This is so that there is no delay or interruption in upcoming payments.
