Second round of Islamabad Peace Talks 2026
International media reports state that the second phase of the peace talks between the United States (US) and Iran will be held at the end of next week in Islamabad,
The reports further suggest that security agencies have been directed to make the required arrangements.
Although no official confirmation has been made by the Pakistani officials yet, sources claim that the talks will be held by the end of next week.

According to an interview with the American newspaper, The New York Post, US President Donald Trump said that the next round of Iran-US talks is also likely to be held in Pakistan.
âYou should stay there, really, because something could be happening over the next two days, and weâre more inclined to go there,â Trump said to the journalist, reports say.
He further praised the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, saying that he is doing excellent work.
âHeâs fantastic, and therefore itâs more likely that we go back there,â Trump further added.
