Pakistan is only mediator White House

White House Spokeperson Karoline Leavitt Riccio said that Pakistan is the only mediator between the US and Iran. She also confirmed that the second round of the US-Iran peace talks could be possible in Islamabad.

The White House spokesperson also praised Pakistan as an incredible mediator between the US and Iran. Karoline Leavitt Riccio also confirmed that result-oriented talks with Iran are ongoing.

However, she also said that the US has not requested anyone to extend the ceasefire.

Earlier, Pakistan’s high-level delegation landed in Tehran, Al Jazeera reported on Wednesday. The report also confirmed the presence of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Tehran.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir went to Tehran to hold high-level talks on the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the US. The Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is also with Field Marshal Asim Munir on Iran’s visit.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi welcomed Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Tehran. Pakistan’s high-level delegation, led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, landed in Tehran to hold talks with Iranian leaders for the continuation of peace talks between the US and Iran.
